The Fighting-Bigotry- with-Delightful-Posters Campaign!

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT:

Last fall a really lame group of bigoted folks got together to post a bunch of hateful and defamatory ads about Muslims all over the New York City subway system. In response, we thought, why not post our own ads? Ads that aren’t hateful, but totally loving, hilarious, and/or ridiculous.

We begged and pleaded with the internet to raise the money and we did it! Now, on April 28th, 2015, we are launching the Fighting-Bigotry-with-Delightful-Posters Campaign!

We’ll be putting up 144 posters in over 140 subway stations in New York City, which transports over 5.5 million people a day. We’re so excited to get millions of eyeballs on the posters and, by the time we’re done, well, NYC straphangers are gonna love the pants off of Muslims.

This campaign could not be coming at a more important time. That same group just got permission to advertise even more aggressive ads on NYC buses and subways. So, help us make sure this campaign packs a punch (metaphorically of course)!

We need YOU to spread the word. Check out our list of where the posters are located below, find one near you and take a picture! Once you have a photo, post it on ye olde Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr or wherever fine photos of awesome stuff are posted.

Don’t worry. Even if you never take the subway in NYC, you can get involved.
