The Muslims are Coming! is done touring (for the moment at least). We’re back in NYC and we’re deep in post-production on the moooovie! We here in the offices of Vaguely Qualified Productions would like to acknowledge that turning 300 hours of footage of Muslim-American comedians being ridiculous around the country into one succinct 85 minute feature film is what they call “DIFFICULT.” But we’re doing it! We can’t be stopped! And by the time we’re done, this country is gonna love the pants out of the Muzzies. That’s a promise.

The movie follows the standup comedy tours we’ve done around the country but we’ve also been dealing with the issues! Which means we’ve also been shooting interviews with people who are smarter than us. Experts like Soledad O’Brian from CNN, Cenk Uygur from the Young Turks, Ali Velshi from CNN, Assif Mandvi from the Daily Show, and standup comics like Colin Quinn and Lewis Black. So this movie is gonna be a Muslim/Jewish/Black/Latino/Journalist/Miscellaneous smorgasbord of diversity.
